Laura Edison

Ms. Edison is recognised as a leading Scottish in-house legal practitioner having been awarded the Scottish Legal Awards In House Lawyer of the Year title in 2021 for her work with Skyrora, where she has managed and grown the global legal team since incorporation.

Ms. Edison has over ten years of experience as a General Counsel working internationally in the digital, technology and new space sectors.
Through Skyrora she has been at the forefront of space regulation and legal compliance, and beyond that, she has vast experience of all cross border legal matters relevant to the technology and digital sectors having held a number of non-executive board level advisory positions since beginning her career as General Counsel of an AIM-listed digital company headquartered in Edinburgh.

In addition to holding her Scots law practice certificate since 2008, she is a Law Society of Scotland Certified Specialist in Data Protection and a notary public.
