Previous locations for this conference have been Budapest, Paris and Bucharest, with Imperial College London chosen as the venue for this year’s conference. The aim of the event is to gather together students, young professionals, experts, academia, government and industry representatives to network, share personal experiences, best practices and know-how in order to inspire and help guide the next generation’s perspectives on space related matters.
The delegates were separated into 4 different working groups who discussed a variety of key space related areas including: Economic Development & Corporate Strategy; Space Medicine; Space Policy, GNSS and the UN Sustainable Development Goals; and New Space & Constellations. Skyrora participated in the New Space & Constellations working group and the focus was on the barriers European New Space companies are facing. The end results of each working group will be presented to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
