Today marks the anniversary of the Apollo 16 launch from Cape Canaveral in Florida, 1972. It was the tenth crewed mission in the US Apollo Space Program. It was fifth in the programme to land on the Moon, and the second to land in the lunar highlands. #funfact #spaceexploration
