Thank you to @BTTFRS1 Fire and Rescue team who were on standby at our ground rocket test! Thankfully, the test was successful and were not needed but they helped us survey the area to double check there was no combustion that had escaped our fire and suppression water system

First time that a team has built a mobile launch complex and successfully live tested a complete rocket vehicle within five days. Edinburgh, Scotland, 20 May 2020 – The UK’s Space race heats up as Skyrora effectively made the UK ready for launching rockets into space after a team successfully built a mobile launch complex and completed a full static fire test with the Skylark L rocket on it – in only five days.

Rocket test first of its kind in United Kingdom in 50 years
The UK's first complete ground rocket test in 50 years has been carried out in Scotland. The 11m (36ft) tall Skylark-L rocket was tested at Kildermorie Estate, near Alness in the Highlands by Edinburgh-based space technologies firm Skyrora. The rocket performed all the actions of a launch while restrained to the ground to prevent it from taking off.
